Warm for Winter
This year marks the 20th annual Warm For Winter Event and Media Day, hosted by the Foundation for Central Schools. The event will occur in early November at Jaswant Singh Khalra Elementary School, where every student will receive a spirit sweater.
This initiative has grown over the last decade and provides Central Unified Students with school clothing, sweaters, and jackets to support student academic achievement and career readiness.
This event would not be possible without the continued support of community partners and friends of the Foundation. Granville Homes, CEO Darius Assemi, has a 19-year dedication to this project and has helped increase the outerwear distribution each year from donating jackets to monetary contributions through the Granville Home of Hope giveaway.
Important Application Guidelines
Before You Apply, Please Note:
- Applicant must be an enrolled Central Unified student
- Submit one application per child
- Have the following details ready:
- Student ID#
- Student size
Do not submit an application if your child attends:
- Roosevelt Elementary
- Madison Elementary
- Liddell Elementary
- Central Elementary
- Teague Elementary
- Herndon-Barstow Elementary
- Houghton-Kearney K-8
- C.L.A.S.S.
- Pershing Continuation School
- Pathway Community Day School
