Proud Partner of the Assistance League of Fresno!

The Foundation for Central Schools is grateful for the unwavering support of the Assistance League of Fresno. This school year, they have made a meaningful impact on Central Unified students, supporting programs like Operation School Bell and our Warm for Winter event. Their generosity, time, and dedication continue to enrich the lives of our students, and we are truly thankful.

About The Assistance League Of Fresno

Assistance League of Fresno is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is devoted to changing lives through community service in the Fresno community.  Member volunteers are dedicated to ongoing support and a long-term presence in the community through hands-on involvement and innovative philanthropic programs.

Since its charter in 1994, Assistance League of Fresno member volunteers have consistently provided quality service to the Fresno area.  During the 2016-2017 year, 275 members contributed over 27,000 hours to serve children and adults in our community.

Attempting to meet previously underserved needs, Assistance League of Fresno supports six philanthropic programs.  These programs provide services to every age range in the community.

The Thrift Boutique is our main source of funding.  The shop is staffed and managed entirely by our member volunteers.  Donations are always welcome and are tax deductible.

The Assisteens® Auxiliary is designed to help teens to plan for a future in philanthropic work, fundraising, personal enhancement and college entry skills.
